Details

Join us for our 4th annual "Mad Hatter" Tea Party Fundraiser in recognition of #WorldMentalHealthDay on Sunday, October 6th between 1-3pm at Esquimalt Gorge Park Pavilion. Don't be late for a very important date! Enjoy an afternoon filled with specialty teas and coffee, baked goods and sandwiches catered by Oaks Restaurant, speaker presentations, music, and a silent auction.

We rely on generous contributions from the community to ensure folks living with borderline personality disorder can receive access to appropriate services. Help us reach our goal of raising $10,000 to fund Dialectical Behaviour Therapy for Adolescents.  Hosting a tea party is a tea-rrific way to gather friends and family in support of our life-promoting programs.

We want to celebrate your "muchness", so Alice in wonderland themed costumes or wild hats are encouraged! We're all mad here... for fun, food, and fundraising! So take a trip down the rabbit hole with us while supporting a great cause. There will be gluten free options available. Come join us to see what the madness is about and have a par-tea with us!

Buy an individual ticket for $40 or sponsor a corporate table of 6 people for $240 Tickets are available here: https://bit.ly/MadHatter2024, in person, or at the door. For further info or to donate a silent auction item please email the organizer at community@bpdbc.ca

About This Charity

The BPD Society of BC was founded in 2012 in an effort to fill the gaps in service for folks living with BPD and their loved ones. We provide hope, validation, and shared experience through our peer-led support groups throughout BC. We also offer system navigation, education, and resources to the community at large. We have a speaker’s bureau for medical professionals, schools, and non-profits. The Society’s goal is to create awareness of the stigma that exists around BPD, educate the public on evidence-based and up to date information on BPD and its treatments, and support the BPD community to build a life worth living through peer support, validation, community engagement, and access to appropriate services. Our current initiative is to raise funds to sustain our Dialectical Behavior Therapy treatment group for adults and add an additional group for adolescents living with borderline personality disorder or BPD traits.
