Bowl For Kids Sake 2022, the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor Essex largest fundraising event of the year, will take place in Windsor at Revs Rose Bowl Lanes on June 23 and 24.

This year our theme is Zombie Bowl. Participants can get dressed up as creepy, ghouly, walking dead style Zombies. Bring out the “Zombie” in you. Be creative, have fun but please remember to dress “tastefully”

Sessions will be held on June 23 @ 6:00. June 24 @ 6:00 and 8:30. June 25 @ 6:00 is not available any longer.

About Bowl For Kids Sake

Bowl For Kids Sake is a great opportunity for businesses and individuals to help children in Windsor and Essex County by forming bowling teams and gathering pledges, or by becoming a sponsor. Prizes are awarded for best dressed team and top individual fundraiser.  You don’t have to be a good bowler…this event is all about fun!

Teams are made up of 5 participants and each person only has to raise a minimum of $50.  Participants will get to bowl 2 games, have 2 pieces of pizza, pop and shoe rental.

Local Fun Provides Local Funds

By participating in Zombie Bowl for Kids Sake, individuals and business will start something BIG for children in Windsor and Essex County! All funds raised stay in our community and support 7 different mentoring programs run by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor Essex.

These programs are proven to be instrumental in reducing bullying and other related negative behaviour such as lack of interest in school, truancy, low self-esteem and drug and alcohol abuse. Mentoring helps kids learn the importance of helping others, and growing up to be more civic-minded adults. We believe that changing the course of these young lives can in turn change our community’s future.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor Essex currently supports over 500 children through these programs.  Each time we pair a child with a mentor or introduce a group of children to our group programs, we start something incredible – a life‐changing relationship built on friendship, trust and empowerment.

Funds raised through Zombie Bowl For Kids Sake assist in funding these vital youth mentorship programs in our community!
