Meg believed in opportunities and that everyone should have a chance to achieve their goals. I am participating in her memorial hike to help create a legacy in her name that will encourage students of all ages and backgrounds to reach their full potential.
Meg was one of the greatest human beings on this planet and the world isn’t the same without her. She did so much good for everyone around her that we wanted to honour her the best way we could. We have started a scholarship in her honour.
This scholarship will help young individuals who participate in the Big Brother Big Sisters of Peel program. We will be selecting someone who embodies the same values Meg showed by giving back to her community through her service and simply by just being herself and always wanting to help people.
