As some of you may know, I've been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters for years. I was fortunate enough to have an amazing 'little sister' for 6 years and we developed a wonderful relationship that we still maintain today, 20 yrs later!
This organization is special to me as I've seen the positive impact it has on young kids. Now, I am proud to be on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton and Hamilton.
In light of the current situation, this year we are running a 'Move for Kids sake' campaign, to replace the popular 'bowl for kids sake' event.
In March, I will be walking 10K steps/day to raise money for our programs that give kids a virtual mentor & friend, especially now when it's needed most.
