2019 Bowl for Kids Sake Barrie & District

Your Mission: Raise money to help children reach their full potential!

Bowl for Kids Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters’ premier fun-raising event where people like you get together with friends, family, and co-workers to raise money and have a fun time bowling in support of Big Brother Big Sister mentoring programs in Barrie & District.  All is takes is a team of 4-6 people and a minimum of $30 per bowler in pledges to participate!

Impact: When a child has a mentor, the odds they will be emotionally, socially & physically healthy increases dramatically…and when we have healthy young people in our communities, everyone benefits. Imagine who they will become because of you!

All events take place at the Barrie Bowlerama- 320 Bayfield Street Barrie, Ontario -                 (In the lower level of the Bayfield Mall)

 How to Get the Ball Rolling!

Setting up your team should only take 5 minutes- if you need help please reach out to Christine christine.drury@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca or Lisa lisa.goldsworthy@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca

1. Register a Team: 

If you have not done so yet, please contact Christine Drury at 705-728-0515 or via email at christine.drury@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca to reserve your lane.

1. Set up your Online Fundraising Page:

Fundraising pages can be setup either by a Team Captain or by Individual Bowlers.

* It is helpful to have the following information ready to ensure a quick setup: Team Name, Team Logo (not required) Fundraising Goal & Team Email Addresses to send out an invite to join.

1. Share your URL: Spread the word about Bowl for Kids Sake 2019 and start collecting pledges by sharing this page with your networks.

Instructions for setting up your team

1. Click Create a Team
2. Set up your account with email, password and contact details (or sign in if used last year)
3. Fill in the information for your personal fundraising page (or use default photo & text)
4. Fill in the information for your team fundraising page (or use default photo & text)
5. Add more photos and videos (if you would like)
6. Start fundraising

Instructions for joining a team

1. Click the Teams Tab
2. Click on your team
3. On your Team’s Page, click Join this Team
4. Set up your account with email, password and contact details (or sign in if used last year)
5. Fill in the information for your fundraising page (or use default text & photo)
6. Add more photos and videos (if you would like)
7. Start fundraising
