If you signed up for our April 4th event, you're in luck!

We are recreating the magic of Bowl for Kids Sake online!

HOW WILL IT WORK?

For your pledges:

• • Leading up to May 23rd you can collect pledges from family and friends across the globe with our online fundraising platform (right here on Canada Helps!)
  • If you have a paper pledge sheet already filled out you can submit it two ways: Take a picture of your pledge sheet and send an e-transfer of your total pledges to bigbrothers@bellaliant.com OR drop off your donations and pledge sheet at the Scotiabank in Stellarton May 11-14 & 19-21 from 3-4pm.
  • Submit your pledges on or before May 22nd to be entered to draws all day on May 23rd!
  • If you raise $150.00 you receive a commemorative t-shirt!

On May 23rd

• • Get dressed up and tag us in a picture of you and your family to enter our Black Tie Costume Contest to win a Tiaras & Ties Prize Pack!
  • Bowl online with the "Classic Bowling Game" (https://poki.com/en/g/classic-bowling) and screen shot your final score to be entered to win a $50.00 gift card to Pipers Landing Restaurant & Big Bucks for the YEAR! (See video for details on how to play and do a screen shot.)
  • Take a video of you and your family "Backyard Bowling" bowling with unconventional things in your yard / house, submit it to us by the end of May 23rd to be entered to win a $50.00 gift card to The Bistro & Big Bucks for the YEAR!
  • Watch our Facebook page for draws, shout outs and prizes.

Bowl for Kids Sake is a FUN way to make an impact on the lives of children and youth right here in Pictou County!

A fun event where children, families, co-workers, businesses and the community come together to raise funds and celebrate the importance of mentoring.  Form a team, collect pledges and bowl online....it is that simple!

This year we are coming together (virtually) to celebrate our 40th Anniversary in Pictou County - and we are doing it in STYLE! Get dressed to the nines and join in our online costume contest!

Stay tuned on May 23rd for special messages from honorary chairs Bob Curley and Stacey Murphy! 

Your Task: Raise money to ignite the full potential of Pictou County kids!

Impact: When a child has a mentor, the odds they will be emotionally, socially & physically healthy increases dramatically…and when we have healthy young people in our communities, everyone benefits. #BiggerTogether #IgnitePotential

Creating a new mentoring match costs roughly $1200. If everyone on your team raises $150, your team could raise more than half the cost of a match. Aim for the $250 level, and you could be Matchmakers!

Since money invested in BBBS programs generates an average social return on investment of $23 for every dollar invested, the money you raise will have huge impact in our community.
