Best Buddies is dedicated to creating friendships between individuals with and without intellectual disabilities. Creating chapters at elementary and high schools, colleges and universities across the country, Best Buddies facilitates friendships by pairing individuals in one-to-one friendships and group activities. A Best Buddies friendship helps break down barriers to inclusion and provides opportunities for shared experiences, laughter and support. The Best Buddies program provides opportunities for training and leadership experience for everyone involved and opens doors for all participants.
