The Derek and Teigha Meyers Foundation was created to honour Derek and his daughter Teigha. This Foundation is inspired to carry forward their spirit of generosity, positivity, and service to others around them.

This is another way for us to remember them and try to put a small dent in the enormous potential we have all lost.

As a charitable fund we will focus on initiatives that Derek was passionate about, supporting mental health and local community organizations. The hope is that our children will also grow to learn more about Derek and Teigha through this continued commitment, and that it will help them eventually carry on Derek and Teigha’s legacy in their own ways.

We are humbled and appreciate all the support our family has received in these difficult times. We seek to channel our grief into positive action to support those around us, as we know Derek would do, and to honour their memories.
