Since its creation in 1989, the CJFCB has held the ‘BY and FOR youth’ as a foundational principle. As a non-profit and charitable organization, it is today considered a major stakeholder in all things related to French-speaking youth in British Columbia.
Our Mission
For more than 30 years, the CJFCB has been promoting, developing and representing the interests of French-speaking youth in British Columbia and helping to achieve its full potential through the organization of various cultural, educational and community-oriented initiatives for youth aged 14 to 25.
About BC Francophone Youth Council
We offer a variety of events (Francophone youth parliament, Francophone Games, Improv League, etc.) and we coordinate youth comitees that promote leadership skills (Linguistic security Comitee, 18+ Comitee, Empreintes Comitee, etc.)
We work closely with Francophone and French immersion schools to involve the youth in civic and community engagement.
