Creative Spaces at Barrie Public Library are an area for exploration, discovery, and community.
Patrons can access tools and resources to expand their critical thinking and entrepreneurial skills, generally at no or low cost. Our Creative Spaces are for all members of our community, whether they are a DIY expert, looking to learn a new skill, or curious about making.
Through both guided sessions and self-directed play, we encourage everyone to embrace their creativity and learn a new skill in an innovative and fun way!
How can you help?
Creative Spaces receives limited support from municipal tax dollars. In order to grow this special area and add new tools, we need donor support. With your charitable donation of all sizes, you are helping enrich each patron's experience by offering equitable access to discover opportunities through experiential learning, supporting users on their DIY journey.
