ACAP Cape Breton is a an environmental non-profit organization that offers the knowledge that Cape Bretoners need to make greener choices, and works directly on practical solutions that help protect and restore our natural environment.

Our mission is to support resilient environmentally-sustainable communities across Unama'ki-Cape Breton.

Over the last two years, we have planted over 90,000 native trees and plants, restored streams, river-sides, forests, and wetlands. We have surveyed for species at risk and supported local land protection efforts. We trained 40 youth interns and co-op students through environmental work placements and provided outdoor and environmental learning for over 2,000 children across Cape Breton.
