Overview
Dear Friends, Cherished Sponsors and Donors,
ACAS is inviting you to join us for our special event for World AIDS Day 2018. This is an important day for the history of our community and in building our future beyond just living with HIV. We are holding a 3-course dinner on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Lisa Marie Gastropub located at 638 Queen St. W, a block west of Bathurst.
The event title is “Remembering our History and Building our Future ”. We will have 3 special speakers who will share their experiences in dealing with HIV and the surrounding community, and the feelings and internal struggles it brings. As much as we acknowledge the challenges in living with HIV, this is also a celebration of life for people who continue to live with perseverance and resilience. Our event will also look optimistically to the future, as people with HIV are living longer and moving towards the goal of 90-90-90 and beyond that to a better quality of life.
Come join us and witness the bravery and courage of these individuals and have the opportunity to meet and greet other ACAS service users so we can all learn a little bit more about their challenges and success stories.
