To encourage public awareness and appreciation of the richness of cultural life on the Saanich Peninsula by providing a collective voice for the arts community, and being an advocate, information source and support resource for all forms of artistic expression.
ArtSea Community Arts Council is a registered charitable organization that encourages, supports and promotes local arts and cultural activities throughout the year.
Through provincial and municipal funding, as well as our own fundraising initiatives, we are able to support such events as the ArtSea Gallery in Tulista Park with weekly artist-directed exhibitions, the annual Salish Sea Lantern Festival, the Sidney Art Walk, the ArtSea Studio Tour, The ArtSea Scholarship, The Arts and Culture Grant Program, and various partnership programs throughout the year.
The ArtSea website and online newsletter highlight the artistic events and shows of the Peninsula, as well as Greater Victoria area. We welcome new members throughout the year, with an open membership.
