EAGLES RISING: A National Indigenous Campaign

Would you love to help Indigenous people across Canada get the recognition they deserve? For their culture, wisdom and ideas on truth and reconciliation? Now you can...

Next spring, in honour of one of our late founding members, iconic musician Gord Downie, and of the first peoples across Canada, we will proudly launch EAGLES RISING...

What is EAGLES RISING? A monumental NATIONAL INDIGENOUS BILLBOARD and TRANSIT SHELTER CAMPAIGN…

In Gord’s final months of brain cancer, while he was touring and writing books (such as “The Secret Path”), all in support of the Indigenous cause, he put out a call to all Canadians to “Do something” to carry on his work to help make Canada a country of truth, reconciliation, and a respectful, reflective home honouring Indigenous people across the land.

“It’s time to listen to the stories of the Indigenous [people]…we are blessed as a young country to be able to look to the wisdom of a really, really old country,” said Gord, in his aim to shine a light not only the plight but on the great wisdom of Indigenous peoples.

And it is this great Indigenous wisdom which we will be spreading across Canada, through EAGLES RISING.

In Gord’s honour, and in honour of the Indigenous peoples he tirelessly strived to help, we will be launching EAGLES RISING with artwork and messages by Buffy Sainte-Marie, Maxine Noel, Roy Henry Vickers, Norval Morrisseau and dozens more Indigenous artists across Canada in the new year.

Please help make the dream of Gord and the messages of the First Peoples come true...

For a $10 or more donation, you will be thanked on the bottom of a transit shelter. And receive a tax receipt, if in Canada.

We thank you in advance...
