Since my dad has been part of ARID, I have done my best to support him and their group! I’ve been going to the walk-a-thon since I was in grade school, and have even walked 5km elsewhere when I couldn’t make it to Fort Erie. Some years it just meant sponsoring my dad with what I could afford at the time. This year, I’m hoping to raise a little more myself by walking it out here in Calgary with my fiancée Cristy and our dog Coco! Please donate to this excellent cause. Every penny is put to good use and helps to change the lives of members of the Niagara community. And it’s not just the folks who are helped directly by ARID that benefit. Helping one person in ARID has a ripple effect that also benefits the families and friends of each group member.
