Camp Out to End Youth Homelessness is an annual event held in Kamloops, BC, by the A Way Home Kamloops Society. This year's event will be taking place on Friday, December 13th, 2019 to support our Youth Housing First program.
The Youth Housing First program assists youth transcending homelessness through wraparound supports including, safe housing, food, clean clothes, counselling services, education, job preparation, housing subsidies, and more!
Our goal is to raise $50,000 this year! We encourage you to be creative with your fundraising strategy with ideas like holding a bake sale, challenging your friends, or hosting a special event.
The event will include an opening presentation, sponsorship recognition, dinner, breakfast, hot coco, and warm fire pits! Campers will be able to sleep through the night in a cardboard box, similar to what many youth on the streets experience, so be sure to bring warm clothes and a sleeping bag!
