The YMCA of Southern Interior BC offers FREE access to all households affected by the fires.

Nearly 1,300 evacuees registered with the YMCA within first week of the fires!

In an effort to support Okanagan Wildfire evacuees with physical, emotional, and mental health wellbeing, the YMCA of Southern Interior BC is offering free access to all three Y Operated facilities in Kelowna including the Kelowna Family Y, the Downtown Y, and the H2O Centre. Since the fires began nearly 1,300 evacuees have registered with the Y to access it's facilities. 

Families with children will find a welcoming environment with designated areas for children to play and socialize, allowing parents a chance to unwind while knowing their children are safe and engaged.

This is a place where families can find respite, comfort, and a sense of normalcy amidst the chaos with access to the gym, fitness areas, swimming pools, and showers.

By supporting the YMCA's Financial Assistance Fund with your donation, you are making a difference for families in our community and will allow the Y to continue to offer households displaced by the fires free access to showers, fitness centers, swimming pools, and a place to spend time together to escape from the stress of displacement.
