In 2008 seven artists decided to form the coopérative des artistes de Georgeville. These artists wanted to promote artistic, literary, and cultural activities in Georgeville, a picturesque village on the shore of Lake Memphremagog. The group had the opportunity to rent space in a beautiful and historical building in the centre of Georgeville. Thus Studio Georgeville was born. The gallery is the only one of its kind in the community: it hosts art exhibitions and a variety of other cultural activities throughout the year.

From the Fete St.Jean weekend until Labour Day weekend, Studio Georgeville is open every day except Monday. After Labour Day we open from Thursday to Sunday until Thanksgiving weekend. After Thanksgiving we open Saturday and Sunday only. We close for the month of February.  We exhibit the work of members of the cooperative as well as many other artists from the Eastern Townships and beyond. We showcase all sorts of arts and crafts, including painting, sculpture, photography, stained glass, ceramic art, jewellery, mobiles, films, and books. Each exhibition includes a vernissage where participating artists can meet gallery goers.
