Climb Towards a Brighter Future For Newcomers
Newcomers to Canada bring a wealth of diverse skills and experiences, but often face challenges during their transition. From learning a new language and finding employment to navigating unfamiliar systems and cultural norms, the journey can be overwhelming.
On October 5, 2024, TIES is thrilled to invite all Calgarians to join the "TIES Climb for New Beginnings" fundraiser.
Why Climb?
By climbing the iconic Calgary Tower's 802 steps, you'll be raising funds to empower newcomers with vital programs that provide them with the skills and resources they need to thrive in Canada. Every step you take and every dollar you raise brings us closer to a Calgary where everyone feels welcomed, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
You'll also enjoy a rewarding team experience, an invigorating workout, and stunning views of Calgary from the observation deck.
