Overview

We are excited to announce PREP’s 24th annual Let’s Talk Hockey event, in partnership with the Calgary Flames, November 13, 2024 at the Saddledome! Guests will hear from Flames players and enjoy an evening of fun, dinner, and prizes, all in support of children with Down syndrome.

Last year, we raised almost $100,000 and aim to surpass that this year. Learn more about our programs and services at www.prepsociety.ca.

The evening will feature great food, prizes, a silent auction, hockey card trading (a fan favourite), and much more, so come prepared for an exciting night in support of a great cause. All money raised will go directly to The PREP Society to provide therapeutic and educational support to children with Down syndrome so they can live active and included lives in their communities.

We hope you can join us!

About This Charity

PREP is where families who have a child with Down syndrome find expert advice, innovative services, and best of all, hope for their child’s future. Our goal is “inclusion for life” and that begins in the home, continues at school, then leads to an active and included life in the community. Parents connect in a welcoming, supportive environment that accepts their child’s disability, yet challenges them to expect more. PREP partners with government, community sponsors, and individual donors to provide educational, therapeutic, and family support services that enable each child to achieve his or her own unique potential and help parents become their child’s best advocate. PREP is unique in that families can enjoy continuous programming and a variety of innovative services from birth to 18 years.
