Being a unicorn trapped in a human meat sack has it's ups and downs. While my unicorn side keeps me seeing light and magic, my human side really struggles. After too many traumas in too short of a time, I completely collapsed.
Putting myself back together has been a monumental effort-one that I am so very proud of. Celebrating still being here, in the way of standing naked at the top of a 150ft bridge with this fundraiser, is EXACTLY the right move.
I am doing this for all the versions of me I have had to conquer, for the people I love who fell while they did their best to conquer, and for the people I have never met who fight to, one day in their own time, conquer.
