HIP's National Youth to Youth (Y2Y) Program

The HIP National Y2Y program aims to foster reconciliation, environmental stewardship, and cultural understanding among Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth, ages 15 to 17, from across Canada. Through shared experiences, outdoor activities, and leadership development, the program empowers youth to become advocates for social change, and environmental sustainability. By bridging cultural divides and promoting dialogue, Y2Y equips the next generation with the knowledge and skills needed to work collaboratively toward a more inclusive and sustainable future.

HIP is a collaborative partnership between Indigenous and non-Indigenous leaders, dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships and reconciliation. Our diverse board of directors is proudly composed of 50% Indigenous and 50% non-Indigenous members, with equal representation of women and men. With members geographically dispersed across Canada, we are committed to promoting inclusivity, cultural understanding, and community empowerment.
