Reindeer Romp 2023 (in support of mental health initiatives at Bruce Shoreline, the local Grey-Bruce branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association)

For the past 18 years, the Reindeer Romp has been donating to local community organizations that support our vulnerable populations in Saugeen Shores (Southampton and Port Elgin) region.  We are humbled to announce that this year's event will once again support mental health initiatives at Bruce Shoreline, the local Grey-Bruce branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association.

The 19th Annual Reindeer Romp will take place on December 24th, 2023 at 9:00am and starts at the Fitness Corner, 497 Meadow Lane, Southampton. The Reindeer Romp is a non-competitive event that covers a new route this year.  Everyone (adults, children, strollers, pets on leash) is welcome to take part by walking or jogging (or rollerblading or cycling or skiing or snowshoeing!) the 2.5 or 5k routes. Festive costumes are encouraged, as are all donations.

Our thanks go out to the event organizers, Holly Vanderzwet and Geordie Farrell,  for not only planning this event but also for supporting mental wellness in Saugeen Shores.  Our appreciation and gratitude also go out to the event participants.  Thank you for making a difference locally!
