The Back 40 has been coming to you since 1990 when Bill Grant, Doug Torrance and Dave deJongh created this show as a Back40 Collective. Since then we have been very grateful for your financial support as it helps motivate us and it keeps us in your ears.
In 1994, Ron Moores joined the collective and since then, he has hosted the show solo until he was joined by CKCU hosts Pat Moore and Al Surmachynski to re-establish the Back 40 Collective. Our intention is to continue to bring you the finest entertainment we can from the world of trad country and bluegrass music.
