About Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara

Our core values of inclusivity, compassion, respect, accountability, positivity and innovation guide our commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible, volunteer-enabled mentoring programs to the children and youth in our community.  We believe wholeheartedly in the transformative power one meaningful relationship can have on the long-term outcomes for children and youth.

We believe every child and youth should have the opportunity to reach their full potential, both as individuals and citizens. Serving as role models, our mentors teach by example the importance of giving and giving back, staying in school, and having respect for family, peers and the community.

We believe that by changing the course of young lives we can, in turn, be changing the course of a community’s future. 

We believe that opening their eyes to what is – opens their minds to what could be.
