The Valley Has Heart Golf Tournament 2024

“The Valley Has Heart” came to be in 2016 when a group of heart disease survivors wanted to give back after receiving life-saving care from our very own Ottawa Heart Institute. We then started The Valley Has Heart, a golf fundraiser to thank them for our second chance at life. The name was symbolic as it represented heart health, but even more so it is a testament to the loving, caring, and giving community of Arnprior and the greater Arnprior area. From there the needs of our Senior Community and the Arnprior Hospital Foundation became our focus. We knew the commitment and skill sets of our healthcare professionals and their support staff were second to none. However, without the proper equipment and technology, their expertise would be limited. 

The funds that were raised last year were used to purchase 19 new, state-of-the-art Vital Signs Machines to allow continued excellent, efficient, emergency and surgical care at the Arnprior Regional Hospital.  

The Arnprior Regional Health Foundation 2024 charity golf tournament committee’s focus this year is to continue raising money for life saving equipment. This will allow local residents and communities to receive medical assessments closer to home.
