St. Andrew's United Church is a place of transformation, both for ourselves and for our world.

We are a community who offer support and compassion, in a space that is safe, where all are accepted for who they are. We are informed by ancient wisdom in both our Christian and other faith traditions, asking how this connects to current culture and challenges. We wrestle with critical issues that affect our lives and the world, and believe that listening is as important as speaking.

We focus our ministry in Halifax and around the world by responding to the spiritual impoverishment of our community; creating communion across religious and social borders; standing for social, economic, and environmental justice; and developing alternative, transformational leadership within our city.
