The Schizophrenia Society has done a lot for me over the years. The SSA has assisted me financially to pay for post secondary schooling by awarding me 2 Yes 2 Me Scholarships. They provided me with employment during the pandemic, while I was in school and volunteering. Their Adult Peer Support Group gives me ongoing mental health support which helps me come to terms with my illness. It also empowers me with the confidence I need to be myself in the community without feeling pressure to cover up my illness.
Please join me in supporting the SSA, it is a cause dear to my heart, and it helps many people, including myself! Maybe I will even see you at the walk... :)
