OUR MISSION  

St. Andrew’s United Church is a welcoming, compassionate and inclusive Christian community of faith in downtown Sudbury. We offer meaningful and engaging worship, and provide leadership and support for mission-oriented programs and initiatives that are spiritually and socially relevant.

OUR VALUES

We live out our core Christian values and practice responsible stewardship by:

OUR COMMUNITY MINISTRIES INCLUDE...

• Providing worship that shares God’s Love for us all, allows us to lift our voices in song and praise, and renews and blesses us through baptism, confirmation, and communion;
• Nurturing spirit and creativity in our children, bringing families together, and affirming that all have a place in this community of faith;
• Feeding and offering companionship to 180+ people every Friday evening from November to April, through our Out of the Cold hot dinner program operated in partnership with other area churches and social agencies;
• Working with other Sudbury mission partners to build networks of care, support and education both locally to our neighbours in the downtown and throughout the city, and globally through advocacy and action;
• Providing pastoral visiting by Rev. Dave to those in the congregation who seek emotional or spiritual support;
• Enabling our Connex pastoral volunteers to visit those who are at home or in care facilities and not able to participate in our church family activities;
