Every Saturday night for 27 years, St. John the Evangelist has been welcoming hungry Londoner’s for dinner. Our guests come not only for food. They come for the fellowship and support provided by our volunteers and fellow guests. Each comes with their own individual story. Some are homeless, some are casually employed, some depend on Ontario Works and Disability, many are Seniors, some are recent arrivals to Canada, some are students.
Every year the number of people facing food insecurity in our community grows. In response to the growing need to address food insecurity in our community we have added a Tuesday Lunch to our meal program ministry. The Saturday and Tuesday meals combined feed over 250 people each week.
In order to fund this expression of love and maintain this important ministry of providing meals and fellowship to our guests we rely on the generosity of people like you.
