St. John's 5K Run-Walk

Hello everyone!

Join us this year for the 15th annual St. John's 5K Run/Walk!

For 24 years, the Church of St. John the Evangelist has been welcoming Londoners experiencing hunger to dinner - every Saturday night without a break.  During the pandemic, there was a period when we switched to a take-out option but the meals never stopped.

This is the primary, but not the only way that our church community reaches out to those in need. The funds raised from our event will go directly to feeding our guests. With increased cost of food and supplies, the success of this event is very important to the financial security of the Meal Program.

REGISTRATION

Registration will be done online.  Participants will have the opportunity to create their own page, story and add an image if desired.  The in-person event will take place on  Sunday, October 16 at St. John the Evangelist Church at 2:30 pm with event check-in beginning at 1:30. For those wishing to walk the 5K on their own, this is still an option.

PRIZES

1. Trophy to first finisher under 10 years old

2. Trophy to first finisher 11- 16 years

3. Prize for first finisher over 16 years old

4. Greatest amount pledged- youth- prize

5. Greatest amount pledged - adult - prize

6. Team Challenge- most pledged- Trophy

7. Dog and owner - prize

We will also be drawing for additional door prizes after the race with refreshments to follow.
