St. John's 5K Run-Walk

Hello everyone!

Join us this year for St. John's 16th annual 5K Run/Walk!

For 26 years, the church of St. John the Evangelist has been welcoming Londoners experiencing hunger to dinner every Saturday night without a break. During the pandemic, there was a period when we switched to take out but the meals never stopped.

This is the primary, but not the only way that our church community reaches out to those in need. The funds raised from our event will go directly to feeding our guests. With increased cost of food and supplies, the success of this event has never been more important to the financial security of the Meal Program.

REGISTRATION

Registration can be done online. Participants have the opportunity to create their own page, story and add an image if desired. The in-person event will take place on Sunday October 15 at the church of St. John the Evangelist at 2:30 p.m. with event check-in starting at 1:30 p.m. For those wishing to walk the 5k on their own, this is still an option.

PRIZES

1. Medals to the top three finishers under 10.

2. Medals to the top three finishers 11-16.

3. Trophy and Prize to the top finisher over 16 years old.

4. Trophy to the top fundraising team

5. Trophy to the top fundraising individual.

6. Dog and Owner Prize

 There will also be additional door prizes drawn after the race with refreshments.
