Over 173,000 hectares have burned in Quebec’s “intensive protection fire zone” this year alone. As of Tuesday, June 6th, 11,400 people have been forced to leave their homes due to unpredictable wildfires in the area. Residents are in desperate need of emergency shelter and care.
