Record high temperatures have led to Canada’s worst wildfire season to date. There are currently a whopping 160 fires reported in Quebec with 114 considered to be “out-of-control”. Over 173,000 hectares have burned in Quebec’s “intensive protection fire zone” this year alone. As of Tuesday, June 6th, 11,400 people have been forced to leave their homes due to unpredictable wildfires in the area. Residents are in desperate need of emergency shelter and care.
