We welcome your support and invite you to join us in changing the conversation around domestic violence and abuse.

FearIsNotLove (the new brand evolution of the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter) supports individuals, families and communities to live free from domestic violence and abuse. We serve all people to live free from fear, neglect, violence, and abuse through a comprehensive range of innovative programs and services; from prevention and education, to counselling and emergency supports.

For nearly 50 years, we have helped more than 250,000 individuals build safe lives and healthy relationships. While emergency sheltering will always remain a part of who we are, of our over 20,000 clients annually, only approximately 5% enter the Emergency Shelter.

Our fondest wish is that someday our services will no longer be necessary. But until that day comes, we thank you for joining with us to support individuals and families in need.
