NNPCN is a non-profit organization providing one-stop Palliative Care, Bereavement and Grief, and End-of-Life volunteer-based free services, education and training, self-care interactive activities, and Community Empowerment strategies, in Northern Ontario. We work to fight against social isolation and abandonment among the senior population, and advocate for increased funding towards palliative care.

Mission. To enhance the comfort, dignity and quality of life of individuals with a terminal illness, and to offer bereavement support throughout the community.

Vision. That every resident of Northeastern Ontario can experience their end-of-life with dignity and comfort, pain free, and with physical, psychological, social and spiritual support provided to them wherever they may be living: in the hospital, in hospices, in long-term care facilities or at home.

We support a decentralized model of palliative care-giving, going to the client where the client is.
