OUR MISSION
In local community and internationally, Soroptimist improves the lives of women and girls through programs that provide social and economic empowerment.
Soroptimist's signature "Dream" programs are our Live Your Dream Award and our Dream It, Be It program for teen girls.
The Live Your Dream Award is provided annually to a woman in financial need who is pursuing post-secondary education in addition to being the primary financial provider for her family.
The Dream It, Be It program is a career-mentoring program for at-risk teen girls that provides adult mentors and role models who help them understand the benefits of goal-setting, positive body image and supportive self-talk, while learning the steps to take actually achieve their dreams.

This trust was established in 1993 to support the Soroptimist education programs for women and girls and other community charitable partnership projects through donations from the public.
