Our Mission

The Onward Malvern Foundation exists to encourage and support education by providing scholarships and bursaries to students as well as by encouraging curricular and extra-curricular activities. It also provides a way for Malvern alumni to support the present school, the Malvern Archives, and their alumni association, the Malvern Red and Black Society.

The Foundation also supports the care and maintenance of the 1914-1918 War Memorial, as well as the sesquicentennial gardens, auditorium refurbishment, auditorium seats, band uniforms, musical instruments, athletic equipment, library books and miscellaneous items necessary that are not covered by the TDSB budget.

About The Onward Malvern Foundation

The Foundation was created by a former parent and volunteer who noted that many of the necessary items for students were no longer covered by the TDSB Board and therefore would require fundraising in order to purchase and or maintain uniforms, instruments, and other items no longer covered.

Donations to the MRBS are used to fund the bi-annual newsletter, the website, special events, office and archives expenses, and the annual MRBS award to a student who has contributed to fostering the Malvern spirit.
