Dr. Temple Grandin did not talk until she was three and a half years old and was diagnosed with autism in 1950. She is now a noted animal expert (PhD. In Animal Science) and advocate for autistic populations. Dr. Grandin has authored numerous award winning books and was the subject of an Emmy and Golden Globe award winning movie. A unique chance to hear this inspiring speaker with a message of hope for anyone facing adversity! Come join us to hear this renowned speaker and advocate and celebrate 25 years of Autism Calgary.
Autism Awareness Centre and Monkey Shine will be selling books and other products at the event.
