Our Mission
Provide an opportunity for students in Sub-Saharan Africa to learn academic and vocational skills through computer assisted learning.
About ASSOCIATION OF CANADIAN PEACEMAKERS INTERNATIONAL, CANADA
CPI developed and implemented computer assisted learning in Honduras where over 7,000 students, both adolescents and adults, completed junior high school. CPI is further developing this model to include a wide range of vocational programs in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Currently CPI provides computer assisted learning in the DR Congo, Kenya and Rwanda, but it is our hope, that by making computer assisted learning to others, it will be possible to spread this learning modality throughout Sub-Saharan Africa in ten years.
CPI collaborates with faith communities, including Moslems, to provide the education needed to enable students to gain marketable skills that will provide for them the foundations on which to build livelihoods and careers. CPI programming has a strong emphasis on promoting peace in local and transnational settings.
