The Redcliff Public Library has been a part of Redcliff since 1967. We are proud to be able to offer traditional library services along with new digital resources to complement our collection. We welcome all people, strengthening our community by acting as an inclusive and accessible resource centre.
Our little library welcomes tens of thousands of people each year for services such as free Wi-Fi, public access computers, photocopying, scanning to email, laminating, faxing, and, yes, even borrowing books and movies.
Our collection has grown beyond books and movies in recent years. We now offer our library of things collection, including puzzles, ukuleles, therapy drums, pickle ball sets, tennis sets, mental health book sets, children’s activity backpacks, books recommended for those struggling with dementia, and even bikes! All of this with your library membership.
While we receive operational funding from the Town of Redcliff and Government of Alberta, these funds only cover the cost of operations, it’s the grants and private gifts that help us thrive. Funding provided to us helps us to improve technologies, programs, spaces, and resources. These are what make our library your doorway to reading, dreaming, and inspiring family literacy.
