Our Mission

"The mission of Starthrower Foundation is to raise and distribute funds for the education of youth in San Rafayel and Cap-Haiten, Haiti, who are unable to support themselves and/or who have no family support. All levels of education (elementary, secondary, university, apprenticeships) are worthwhile.

Funds will also be used to meet basic needs which foster that success: securing housing, paying rent, emotional support, supplying food, medical, dental, etc."

Education takes many forms. Those who are malnourished most of their lives often have special needs. We pursue opportunities for students at secondary school, university, apprenticeships, as well as special education for severe learning challenges such as deafness and blindness.
