Southern Frontenac Community Services Corporation (SFCSC) is a registered charity that acts as a community hub for health and social services in rural South Frontenac in eastern Ontario, established in 1989.

Our mandate is to provide programs and services that will improve and maintain the quality of life within our region. It does this primarily by offering a broad slate of programs for seniors including adult day services for frail elderly, hot meals on wheels, Diners Club congregate dining programs, seniors' social and recreational programs, transportation services, visiting hospice and respite, support groups, and other health and social services particularly for seniors in a rural setting including isolated seniors

SFCSC operates an accredited Food Bank which serves about 75 households each month across rural Kingston and South Frontenac Township. Families are provided with one week's worth of non-perishable food along with fresh vegetables, milk, and meat. Hampers are supplemented with choices based on the families' specific needs and requests.

SFCSC is governed by a volunteer board of directors drawn from across the rural community who bring a diverse set of skills and aptitudes to the organization. We have a staff of 18 and a dozen brokered workers. SFCSC relies on 180 active volunteers who provide leadership, services and supports across all areas of the organization.
