Our mission is to promote a life of authentic intimacy through Natural Family Planning by strengthening marriage and families around BC.
About Serena Family Planning Society of British Columbia
Whether you’ve just gotten engaged and are doing research, are wanting to space out your kids, or maybe you're trying for your first “mini-me”, Serena can help! Our trained teacher-couples teach the Sympto-Thermal Method of Natural Family Planning (NFP).
We are a volunteer-based non-profit organization dedicated to helping couples to live a life of authentic intimacy. Our team of trained and accredited teacher-couples educate and mentor couples about their fertility. NFP is a means of avoiding or achieving pregnancy where both husband and wife observe and chart her signs of fertility. Whether it is to avoid or to achieve pregnancy, they use the gathered information to achieve their desired goals cycle after cycle, month after month. Think of it as a system of fertility awareness.
Serena is backed by research and data, medical professionals and organizations. Our system is proven effective for both achieving and avoiding pregnancy.
