About SALT SPRING ISLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY ASSOCIATION
The Library provides a comprehensive collection of information resources in a variety of formats. It is operated by over 100 volunteers and five paid staff, and it provides a community-based and service oriented atmosphere in the heart of Ganges village. The Library participates in all province-wide services such as BC OneCard, downloadable eBooks and audiobooks, interlibrary loan, and subscription database access through the website: http://saltspring.bc.libraries.coop/ . The Library partners with Salt Spring Literacy, The Salt Spring Historical Society and Archives, Transitions Salt Spring, the local schools, and many other local organizations. We provide many meaningful programs to our community.
